We know from Romans that the whole earth awaits the manifestation of the sons of God.   From what I have been seeing in these first few days of the new year, we can’t help but be excited that perhaps we are already starting to see this marvelous release of God’s power in His people!  Instead of lamenting the ominous politics on the horizon, we can press in to the things of the Spirit of the Lord.  These are times of refreshing in the presence of the Lord!   These are the times for which the sons and daughters of this generation were born!  What an amazing God we serve!  And make no mistake -- you are just in time (His time) to make a major difference for the Kingdom of God on the world stage. Who you?  YES!!

This morning as I asked the Lord what He felt I should read in the Scriptures, He told me to read Ephesians. Dutifully opening to chapter one, I read in verse one:

By The Speaking Of His Power

The Robe That He Wore

Spun with love, and given with joy,
I covered Him in His long journey.
Sharing life, healing, and hope to believe
What glory shined through my fine weave!

I held His frame, as He moved about
Doing His Father’s will.
But imagine my concern the evening I discerned
Agonized drops of red on my twill.

Would you be the one
Who embraces The Son
As you sit in your easy chair?

Would you align your day
and be able to say
About all that you hold so dear?

That I did what My Father had told,
No worries for what of mine went on hold
I chose His agenda instead.

I Am With You

I sat beside the still waters

Waiting for my Lord
Then I felt it
The gentle breeze upon my face
He came just like He
Said He would

He was everywhere as
I looked upon
The green pastures
I could hear
His soft voice upon my ears
Talking to me in the quiet

"Look Up"

I was quiet and listened
Waiting to hear
The voice of my Lord and His love
Reaching out to me
Touching me with His presence

When I looked up there He was
Smiling down at me
Riding the wind of Heaven
And calling to me
To share His love in all my words
